Questions we get before the first batch
How long does a batch take?
Three to five business days dock to dock for standard work. The rush lane runs parts in forty-eight hours and we keep room on the line for it every week.
Can you match a color we already use?
Usually. Send a coated part, a chip or a RAL number. We spray a test panel, read it on a spectrophotometer, and post the panel back before we coat anything of yours.
What about threads and bearing fits?
Tell us which ones and we mask them. Plugs, caps and high-temperature tape are quoted in, not added to the invoice afterwards. Unmasked threads are the most common reason a finished part will not assemble.
Will there be rack marks?
Somewhere, yes: the part has to hang from something. Tell us which face shows and we will rack from one that does not. If nothing may be marked, ask about the basket line or a two-stage hang.
Do you strip old finish?
Yes, chemically or by blasting depending on the substrate and what is on it. Send a photograph first; a part that has been repainted four times is a different job from a mill-finish blank.
Can you prove it will hold up?
We run coupons with your load and can report ASTM B117 salt spray at 500 or 1,000 hours, cross-hatch adhesion to ASTM D3359, and 60-degree gloss. Those readings stay on file for three years.
